Research and development area
- Novel approach to aromatherapy.
- Safe, eco friendly, health protective cosmetic composition containing natural colours developed from medicinal herbs, fortified with various aroma.
- Herbal colours offer an advantage that they can be added or used without taking into consideration certification by different agencies like FAO, WHO and cosmetic authorities.
- May be used in more sensitive and delicate parts of the body and can be used in leucoderma particularly of lips region.
- The colours are 100% lipophilic in nature, anti-microbial, no allergy or side effects like carcinogenic as most of the synthetic colours.
- The herbal colours can be made in different shades in a cost-effective manner.
- Having functional attributes after addition of different essential oils and their isolates.
- Promotes the stimulation of creative thoughts, enhance sensual feeling and to help mood lifting attributes like anti-depressant feelings, etc.

The potential biocontrol fungi have shown very promising result in controlling several soil borne diseases of ornamental/industrial plants.
- Technique for rooting of Chrysanthemum using a strain of bio-control fungi. A useful technique has been developed for rooting of Chrysanthemum using strain of Bio-control fungi. This fungi has got the potential to induce early rooting in Chrysanthemum.
- Technique for storing corms/ cornels of Gladiolus. A novel way of storing corms/cornels of gladiolus has been developed so that they remain free from the attack of various pathogenic fungi during the storage.
- Development of value added Spirulina and Anabaena with elevated levels of protein and essestial amino acids. Patent filed no. NF 429/01.
